As the accidents are increasing day by day because of high-speed vehicles on highways, the speed determination of heavy vehicles is becoming a challenging task with camera in motion. According to a report published in 2016, 1,317 accidents and 413 deaths were reported on Indian roads each day. We drive most of the vehicles above the prescribed speed on the highways. Most of the light-weight vehicles and bikers are unaware of the fact that they can be the target of any heavy-weight vehicle approaching from behind, and they are unaware of the scenario of approaching traffic. We present a new helmet model and an Advanced Driving Assistance Feature that provides information about the complete backside scenario to bikers as well as light-weight vehicles and provides the speed of fast approaching vehicles to provide safety. This smart helmet and ADAS device offers better safety and is cheap compared to the latest AI products.

APPLICATIONS

ADAS In Vehicles

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) can be used in any heavy or light-weight vehicles to guide the driver as per the approaching vehicle’s speed to provide safety. It will be very helpful in Indian traffic scenarios to decrease the rate of accidents.

Smart Helmets

This will monitor vehicles on highways and this system will be more concern about the safety of precious human life. This will be available at a very less cost compared to others.

Traffic Cameras

A WiFi enabled AI camera system embedded with this feature connected to the cloud can replace costly traffic cameras.

Motivations

There is an increasing rate of bike-accidents due to high-speed vehicles on highways in India. Bikers are affected by cross-wind caused by high speed and heavier vehicles on the highway and get imbalanced and meet accidents and most of them lose their lives.

Vehicle on roads are unaware of back-side scenario, traffic congestion and chasing vehicle’s speed. These are the parameters which help the drivers feel safe on road.
